Just received my steering box and control valve back from Randy Meyer today. They both look beautiful and brand-spanking new. I've always heard good things about Randys work, now I understand why... Bob

Re: Steering Box & Control Valve

Bob, if you don't mind my asking, what does it cost for a high quality steering box rebuild?

I was thinking about buying a Flaming River unit to put into '66 GT350. A rebuild would be the better way to go for originality of course but I would keep the old box if I installed the Flaming River.

    Weighing the options...

Randall, Don't have the invoice in front of me, but believe that the steering box ran about $130. Might be a bit more if he has to replace more than the standard stuff.. They really look brand new upon return. Believe that Tim Lea has worked with Randy several times over with nothing but good results.

Here's Randy's price list and services. First class service and work. He'll even brush and clearcoat cases to look natural.
