What is the importance of a 427 chassis instruction manual?

I have the real deal and it is for sale but I have absolutely no idea how to price such a significant item. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

    Re: Chassis Instruction Manual

Just an FYI that these have be reproduced for many many years. The 427 manual contains much of the same information contained in the 289 manual.

Since you're an 'Ebayer', there was one that someone thinks is worth more than $700.
But that may be only the seller that's thinking that.

i would have to agree that his is worth that sum if he can prove that the heritage is for real. However, i cant imagine anyone bidding over the starting bid.
    thanx

The book is an interesting curio, but really doesn't have much useful info...other than a wiring schematic.

A-Snake is correct...the reprints are readily available for a reasonable price (maybe 20-30 bucks). I have an original one and guess what? ...the reprint has all the same stuff. :)

Correction... $14 - on sale

That one is obviously wrong because it has OWNERS HANDBOOK written under chassis instruction book.
    Not a very good replica!

How does that go? "...you can't tell a book by its cover." ;)
