    Very nice work...and a great site.

    Looking thru my stuff, Northwestern had a little Cobra action before the time you started their story.

    The Registry shows they sold one 289 Cobra, CSX2257, invoice March of 1964

    Thanks Ron, I knew they had a few sales prior...I think they sold a 1965 Shelby to Pabst.

    Good site Pete: I have some info on a special paint 68 Shelby.

    When I was in Germany in 88, I looked at a 68 GT500KR that was for sale that was a special paint, orange. The car was used for drag racing and had very low miles and had it's original paint. I didn't buy the car, (my mistake) but I did take a video of the car and I do have the car # in my Shelby registry book that I had with me. If this info helps and you need it, let me know and I will post it.

    I looked in the registryand couldn't find where I made a note. I have all three registrys, even the one with the pages falling out, I'll keep looking.
