I know that I'm biased, but shouldn't an FAM Cobra be a 289 FIA or Daytona Coupe? They are really the ones who handed the prancing horse their behinds.
This is new news to me, and I quote. "While the list of GT500-Authorized Ford dealers is still being finalized, check with your local Ford dealer. You may be able to get on the delivery list and be one of the first in your area to own a 2007 Shelby GT500." I thought that they were going to be sold through SVT Certified dealers. Is Ford now creating a new Authorization/Certification for dealers? What are your thoughts? Thanks for the post RShelby; I'm calling my dealer right now.
OK, I called my dealer but the gentleman I've been working with is not there today. Was anyone able to talk to his or her dealer?
I had talked to a local dealer in Baxter, Minnesota. They are not currently an SVT dealer but are looking at becoming authorized for the GT500 release. I am sure this little tidbit only adds confusion. robin
Greaaaat, so now the dealers we have deposits with may not even end up being authorized to sell GT500s!!!
