    Hello to all.
I am a new member that is just starting a restoration on an early 68 GT500 convertible. I am going to be looking for lots of advice regarding locating parts. component rebuilding and restoration, and also on proper methods to keep the car "Period correct". This is going to be a complete disassemble with every nut and bolt new or restored.
Thanks in advance for all your help. If you have any begining advice be sure to let me know.

First step is bag, document and take plenty of pics during dissassembly. Just finishing up a 68 500 vert.

    Thanks Tim and Vern.
We are Taking lots of digital, 35mm and video for documentation. Also Bagging and tagging so to say.
I know this is a slow process and I am in no hurry. Just want to get it right.

Another great way to get it right the first time is to visit a SAAC convention, or an MCA grand national or national show. Sit and gab with a co-operative concours owner. Take notes and photos to get all the detail right.
