I figured this would be a good place to track what people are ACTUALLY paying for the new Shelby GT500. The more we know, the better we can each be when negotiating with a given dealer who wants to quote eBay prices and outrages advertised prices....feel free to vote in the above poll if you've given a deposit to an agreed price or have brought one outright.

I have posted the same poll in ohter 2007 GT500 Forums, will post a running update of the aggregate data as time passes.

Here are the price lists for the 2007 GT500:

I have been keeping my eye on ebay and for what it is worth, the best deals I have seen is about 10k over. I also went into a local ford dealer in OC. Ca. and they said there are asking 25K over and getting it

I was able to pay list price (MSRP) on a fully loaded GT 500 Convertible with the Shaker 1000. I knew the owner of the Ford Dealership and gave him $10,000 down August 2006.

:guns: I have had the car a few weeks and its an animal. Tons of punch at 70-80 MPH through 140+ This car can do a burn out at 55 MPH on the highway (in second gear) with just the gas pedal!

You can pay a premium here and ship it overseas and still come out ahead. :guns: ~Patrick

I just ordered one (Red) from VA. It is on its way to CA. There is still a premium for the red cars.

Handshake deal at MSRP 18 months ago, while picking up a new Ford GT(also at MSRP). The Manager I shook hands with left the Dealer 6 months ago, so I started drinking Pepto Bismal by the quart! Car came in (white with blue stripes, shaker 500 & interior upgrade) just before Easter. Wired MSRP to the Dealership, flew 700 miles to pickup the Shelby..and drove home the same day..$43,570..WHEW!!! Mirrorman:thumbsup:
