Hello, My name is Jean-Paul Theunissen, I life in The Netherlands, Europe. I am 28 years old, and own my '68 Ford Mustang coupe for 10 years now. The whole history of my car is well-known, the previous owner has become a good friend. Last year we stayed with his family in LA for 2 weeks. On our first day we went to the Ford dealer to buy a new Mustang for his doughter; Life is great! In The Netherlands the Mustang hobby is pretty big. We have the second largest Mustang club of the world. Our country is about the size of the LA District, but we still have Mustang Meetings were about 300 Mustangs arrive. But Shelby's, that's a different storry; maybe 4 or 5 in our whole country. At the end of this year I want to start my repainting project. My car was originally white but was ''repainted'' in the states for export. They painted it blue.. This is why I want to convert the car in a vintage Shelby Mustang Trans-Am clone. I want to paint my car white again, but with the big blue Trans-Am striping on it. This would be perfect for me, the white orignal colour, combined with the blue colour as I know my car at this moment.. My car is technically modified: engine, suspension, exhaust, brakes and engine bay. This al would work out with the Trans-am clone theme. There's only one problem. There is not much known about Trans-Am Mustangs of 1967/68 on the web. For example, I want to know the measurements of the stripings. Does anyone know were to find it?? Thanks for your help in advance! For details about my car, you can check: www.mustang1968.nl Jean-Paul THeunissen
