I really like the forum, my big interest is in late model Shelby Dodges. Currently I'm converting a 1993 Dodge Shadow to a 1989 CSX clone.
Thanks. Actually, I've visited your gallery. My car is a convertible, and you have pics of a white convertible clone that I'm checking to see how he did certain things (Like the rear wing that overlaps the convertible trim when mounted with no modifications)
That is Tim Costello's car. I believe he used a wing from a Mustang that was very similar to the Shelby CSX.
That makes sense. I just got a CSX wing and was wondering how to cut it. it seems like his was really short, that explains it.
Welcome! There are, of course, two different P-body wings. The '87-'88 CSXes have one style, and the '89 is different.
Yes. I'm not sure if the '89 CSX wing was used on any other cars. What did the Competition Shadows (the ones with VNTs) have? Did they have a wing at all?
the 89 wing was only used on that csx. The 87 & 88 seem like the same as the ES, but I've never compared them in person.
Why is it that CSX 321 still shows his Texas plate when he responds here?? I thought we got rid of ya... (elbow to the rib) Hi David...just yankin ur chain, hope lifes treatin ya well up there.
