All, Maybe this has been discussed, does anyone have the PN# for the new re-issued stewart-warner guages that came on the 67 Shelby? Also, was the oil pressure guage mechanical or electronic? Thank you! Terry 1967 GT 500 Shelby 1965 Sunbeam Tiger[/QUOTE]
67 Shelby gauges. Here's the oil pressure gauge. Go back a page for the amp gauge. Both are the real deal. Frank Stewart Warner oil pressure gauge
Well, Mustangs Unlimited says that these are 2 1/16" in size but they should be 2 5/8", right? To me these are reproductions and not originals but if you don't have any, can't find any or refuse to pay the high price of originals, I guess these are quite okay. My 67 was missing these when I bought it in the L.A. Area in 1977 but was lucky to find one in, of all places, Sweden in the early 80's. Texas Swede
Me again, weird but MU must have changed the site just now because when clicking at the link now a couple of minutes later the 2 5/8" was shown. Sorry, Texas Swede
I originally had a link to the wrong gauge. The only difference in the link was 37 or 47. I changed it, not Mustangs Unlimited. Sharp eyes. Frank
Thank you all for responding to my question about the guages. My car only had the pod with aftermarket guages it. I thought I would get a set of these "reproductions" for now until I find a nice set of original ones. Again, thank you. Terry 1967 Shelby GT 500 1965 Sunbeam Tiger
I bought the aftermarket ones for my car and they look great, better then a good used one and a lot cheaper.Go for it. greg
