    You should join SAAC-MCR. The Motor City Region of S.A.A.C. I was an active member in that club from the mid 80's to the mid 90's til I moved a couple hours away. They're meeting place is not far from you and the people are great. At least attend the Show' n Go. It is coming up soon. Here is a link to the event.
