I'm trying to get the PCV set up on my KR and could use some help. 1. Did all KR's have PCV ? 2. How is the hose connected to the valve cover ? 3. Is the brake vacuum line rubber hose between rear port on manifold and power booster?or metal tubing with rubber hose going to the power booster. Any help, pictures or comments would be a great help. Ranger Jerry
1. Yes 2. Rubber hose goes to PVC elbow then PVC goes into grommet in valve cover 3. There is a metal line that goes from brass fitting on back of manifold them rubber hose goes from there to booster check valve. Picture? OK but credit goes to my friend Bill Upham; http://mansfieldmustang.com/04-37.jpg
Thanks for the quick replies TLEA and Coralsnake! I had gotten the same picture from Pete in reguards to the correct vacuum line routes from the dual vacuum on the distributor, that's where I saw the PCV parts all missing off my car. I now have the parts all but the valve cover rubber grommet and the PCV elbow. Anyone know where these parts can be found? Thanks again Ranger Jerry
The stuff is fairly common since most FEs used it. I see reproductions of the fittings in the NPD catalog now.
