    HI ALL, ANYONE KNOW HOW MANY BLADES ARE ON A RADIATOR FAN FOR 1967 SHELBY GT 350 WITH A K MOTOR? 4 OR 6?

    It's a four blade fan, not a Hi-Po fan either.Looks like a regular stamped steel fan, tall X shape. Just repainted my NOS one yesterday.

    Here are pictures of the original fan from '67 gt350 #02751. This is a five-bladed clutch fan.

    The car was originally sold in California, and had a smog pump on it, so this could be something to do with why it's different to most other '67 GT350s.

    The fan on #3014 was a 5-blade like that clutch fan, but a non-clutch style. There are no markings on it. Any insight on that? Al

    does your 67 california shelby have factory A/C? I believe factory A/C cars needed a clutch type fan for additional cooling when stopped at idle.

    I believe it depends on if it has air conditioning. I know a non air car should be 4 blades. 67's did not come with the same Hipo blade as 63-66 K codes.

    The correct 4 blade fan is the C6OE D for 67 K codes not the C3 used on earlier cars. Selectaire units used a different fan with a clutch.

    The pictures of the fan in my earlier post (above) show the clutch type fan from my '67 GT350 with thermactor, but w/o AC. It was originally a california car.

    As always with these cars, I suspect SA fitted whatever came to hand on the day! :thumbsup:​

    Since it wasn't Shelby that installed the fan ,,, I doubt (not allot of evidence that SA did either) Ford substituted much though owners (especially Shelby ones) love the excuse IMHO

    I agree with everything Jeff said. Ford definitely did the fan install not Shelby. All of the thermactor 67 GT350 that I have inspected over the years still had the there original clutch type fan. Most still had a C7ZX fan clutch. I believe that I have seen that mentioned on the add and delete sheet for a run group of thermactor equipped 67 GT350's. The original regular production Mustang fan clutch is meant to be change over to a C7ZX Shelby unique fan clutch.Bob
