I am digging into this car and have a lot more questions.

    1. The third member has a casting of June 68, It does not have an "N" the car was produced in Janurary 21 69. Should this have an "N" third member? what is the oldest casting available.

    2. My block is an October 69, runs strong. Looking to trade for a late 68 block.

    3. What is the oldest casting on the Bell housing?

    4. I need a new starter and Fuel pump, does anyone know where they may be available.

    5. My car had the small tires and full size spare, Did it come with a shelby wheel for a spare, or a full size ford wheel, and what type of tire?

68 nodular case would typically not have an N on it. Starter is pretty common, same for almost all FE's. 4441S fuel pumps have become a hot (translation=pricey) item lately. I had on sell for $1100 on Ebay in January. You would expect to find a space saver in a 69

My car had F 70 14 tires not the originals. Which I think meant it had a full size spare. It was made Jan 21, before the bigger tires were standard. Can anyone confirm this?

They were still all 15". Early cars had E70 15 and later F60 15. I'm sticking to the spacesaver for spare.

I am looking at the build sheet it say s f 70 14. There is also not a bracket in the back for the tire inflator. The guy at shelbyparts.com said, the small tires had a full size spare. I am not saying he is correct but there is evidence supporting this

Which rims do you have? Both the Shelby 5 stars or magnums are 15" rims. 14" tires would fit 14" magnums if someone did a switch.

I have shelby 5 stars. The marti report also says the car went in for the wheel recall, and I have the invoice for 4 new wheels
