#1 the distance between lemans stripes is a constant 2".
Super snake stripes were thin-thick-thin over the car like the shelby side stripes.

#2 I have weighed my 67 GT350 and it is about 3100 pounds

#3 if I was running a auto, I would beef up a C4 I think.... I've read that the C6 uses up more power than a C4....depending on what rear gears you are running and how you plan to drive the car, maybe you might want to explore an overdrive tranny

    Lets define this:

    Supersnake: 1 built Narrow-wide-narrow

    LeMans stripes: two wide stripes.

For LeMans stripes, do a seach as this has been posted before.

And, again: Funny how there are so many cars now with LeMans stripes that people think I left them off my Concours winning GT 350. Not so, in 1967 these where Dealer installed or owner installed only.

    Dave,
I contacted Dave Matthews, (67 Shelby registrar) about dimensions on the super snake stripes for my 68 427 fasback project. He informed me that the exact dimensions are not known, and that he had at one time judged the dimensions from photos by using known dimensions of other parts of the car. Maybe Charley will weigh in on this and go out and measure the stripes for you on the original car.

I can't check the dimensions for you tonight, I'm at work. I'll get them as soon as possible and put them on this thread for you. Meanwhile, you can look at my fastback and tell me if they look like you were looking for. Click here: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2550084

    Dave,
I measured the stripes on my 68 FB. The wide middle stripe is 10" then there is a 2" distance to the outside stripes which are 2 3/4" wide. If you looked at the pics of mine and it looks ok to you then use these measurements. I just looked at pictures and laid them out judging from them. Hope this helps.
