Re: Shelby Photo's- be careful

Discussion in 'Shelby Mustang List' started by Robert Gaines, Mar 13, 2005.

  1. Unfortunately this thread has raised a red flag in my paranoid mind so I
fell obligated to remind those on the list that there are those scammers
that will use our innocent photos for criminal purposes. I do not want
to see anything of mine or my friends on this list in a spoof ebay
auction like has happened to others . A good precaution would be to use
a overlay ghost of a name like I have seen Mike M at Worldwide
Musclecars ( I am not sure of the procedure) use over the photo to
discourage them from copying the photos. It is a shame that I have to
even mention this subject but that is the world we live in . Bob

  2. Bob:
Great point. As a matter of fact our Shelby appeared on a cars for sale site. Took some persuasion, but it disappeared. You are right; it is a sad world we live in.

Why don't we post some of our photos? Many of you have Unrestored, Restored, Original condition and concours vehicles. It would be great to put the vehicles to the many names and posters here on this thread!

    Just an Idea.
