I have a little bit of play in my steering wheel on my 69 GT-350. My mechanic says that it is my Power Steering Slave Cylinder that needs replaced. Does this sound correct? If so, does anyone have suggestions on where to purchase a rebuilt or new one? Anything else to replace at the same time? Thanks, Tom __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Tom; It has been my experience that you will end up rebuilding all of the steering components, and then still have play in your steering. The culprit usually turns out to be the joint inside the tilt column. Check the play in the column by having someone hold the pitman arm, while you try to turn the steering wheel. More than likely, there will be play. Very few cars have tight tilt columns. I can recommend a person in San Jose, CA who can rebuild it, although I have heard mixed reviews on the workmanship. Let's see if anyone else on the forum has had that same experience, and has a solution. Hope this "steers" you in the right direction!
