65-66 GT350 rollbar questions

    Being new to this I search around to obtain as much info as possible on these cars.

    If I understand correctly, there were no roll bars in the 65-66 GT350´s but yet I see pictures of cars with original looking roll bars.

    Can anyone clarify the availability of roll bars on these cars? Are they all modified after delivery from the factory, or are there cars that actually came with roll bars?

    Street cars did not come out of Venice shop with them, Just R's, as part of the "Safety group" - Of course with ANYTHING Shelby, there can be exceptions, which would require documentation.
    Most I have seen were installed much later on.
