Is there really that big of a difference? I agree that the $50 handling fee sucks! But in the case of this block IMHO you are really paying a lot of $$ for the main caps. I would think that date coded C5AE blocks could be found for *a lot* less and then add a set of HiPo main caps. OK, the HiPo caps aren't exactly plentiful or cheap but can be had for ~$200 if you are patient. And this block already had a VIN stamp, which unless it actually matches the car's VIN so what? The Boss 302 block is unique, the HiPo block is not.
