Ill take a different approach at this so it doenst look like a businesss endeavor and get my post moved on me....

I am building a Shelby project for the company I work at for the 2007 SEMA show. We currently have a lot of supporting vendors on the project and are doing all they can to contribute to this porject and if its like any of our past projects.

I personally come from a background of European and other imports.... My last 2 vehicles were a Honda Accord and a Volkswagen Passat so me comming into haveing to personalize myself with a muscle car has been a real challange.

I normally frequent the forums relating with Car Audio some other vehicle specific forums for my personal vehicles. I am hoping that between now and the show in 2 months I can gain a lot of knoledge and advice of what is avaiualbe on the market. I also work directly with a lot of publications doing test reviews and vehicle builds. Currently on the Shelby project I am working with Performance Auto and Sound, Modified Mustangs, Car Audio and Electronics, and Muscle Mustanf and fast Fords magazines...

Thank you in advnace for any input or ideas that you may have and I will do my best to do frequent posts on our Shelby Project.

    Thanks....

    Fred Lynch

    Welcome to the site.

For me an AM radio that can pick up "Garage Logic" is all I need in car audio. I prefer the sound of the valvetrain and the exhaust.

Lol..... not the first time Ive been told that... well I can say that this car is not being oriented around the stereo..... THe stereo is going to be extremely mild and realistic.... this project is all about performance....

Welcome to the site. Be aware the majority of us don't get too excited
about latest "boom boom" sound systems. As long as we can hear some
sounds in the background, thats OK. Much rather listen to side exiting
exhausts as you come up thru the gears and flat tappets ticking away.
    Good luck on your project.

When we made our deals with the magazines and also our big sponsors like Ford Racing, Shelby Performance Parts, MRT ETC..... the big focus of this project was 90% DIY performance and 10% audio.... Compared to our previous projects the system on this project will be a single amp, factory interfaced system, no wild custom in the cabin of the vehicle... factory head unit..... and the system is designed to have the volume when it is desired but our companies focus has always been SQ... making a system reproduce music as it was originally intended.... we have done a few big high spl systems with great marekting success... but I prefer to keep it tastefull and classsy.... for me instead of wildy custom... Id rather go wildy stock......

My whole theme for this build on the audio portion is to get the most sq and overall dynamic sound while putting a major focus on keeping weight to a minimum and creating a very well balanced private rock concert in the vehicle...

We just finished the suspension, brakes, intake, wheels and tires this weekend.... I should be getting all of the additional chassis components from Steeda here in the next few days....

Here is our beast stock before we started...

This is a shop of the Garage we are building the car in... the magazines said we had to do the buildup in a DIY enviorment.... so no lifts no shops.... Ugh... but we are making do... The car is still stock in this picture...

Here is a front suspension shot of the new Baer Brake 6S package with the Eibach super sport springs and sway bar and Ford Racing Dampener..... (note all of the finished images are being set up like this with white room enviorment for the publications...)
