Today mark the thirty year anniversary of my purchase of my Shelby. Can't hardly believe that its been that long.
Re: Thirty years Roy, Congratulations on 30 years with your car! Keep it and enjoy for as long as you can. Eric
Re: Thirty years Congratulations and welcome to the 30 year Owners Club. I bought 67402F7A01317 on June 3, 1977 and still own the car. Next February, it will be 20 years of ownership of SFM5S275. The years just go faster and faster, don't they? Texas Swede
Re: Thirty years It's good to see so many people buying Shelby's and keeping them instead of just turning a dollar. I've had mine 25 years and my brother has had his 66 for 30 yrs. Kenny
Re: Thirty years WOW.....one car for 30 Years....... Congtrats. I have owned over 200 Vehicles since 1979 will the longest owned being 5 years.
Re: Thirty years I think I bought mine 6S2251 about 1974, I'll have to check the title for an issue date. Lets see that would be about 33 years and counting. No plans for allowing it to leave my family.
Re: Thirty years Great to see all you old timers. I bought my 68 in january 1977 with no intention of selling it. See you at the 40 year benchmark...
Re: Thirty years It goes fast doesn't it? I bought my 67 GT 350 on January 30th, 1971. Thats a little more than 36 years now.
Re: Thirty years I just looked at the bill of sale on my KR and Nov. will be 25 years for me. My wife is always amazed that I can remember how long I've owned each car and the build dates that go with them, and have to think to remember our anniversary. I'm sure that I'm not the only one! Re: Thirty years I bought 5S550 september 20th 1987 , and 30 years at my job. Time sure does fly. Mike
I have owned SFM5026 since 1979. The car was completed on February 8, 1965. I will never forget my wife's birthday, which is also February 8 (A little south of 1965, but we don't talk about that ;>).
