    Fellas,

    Below are some relevant dates for my car. There are some date gaps like "released" 5/16/67 and "completed" 7/5/67.

    Just curious where the car may have been or why the gap in dates

    * Order Received 3/10/67
    * Car Seriallized 4/12/67
    * Scheduled for Build 4/27/67
    * Actually Built 5/16/67
    * Released 5/16/67
    * Completed 7/5/67
    * Shipping Date 7/11/67
    * Manufacturer Statement of Origin 7/5/67 J.D. Ball Ford
    * Sold to Larry L. Gerbshein, Hollywood Hills, FL 8/9/67

    Hi Mike! you have an easy question here. The first dates are the Ford build.Next there is approx.60 days for the Shelby conversion.Then the shipping date to the original selling dealer in florida.It appears that Shelby was 8-10 weeks from time of order to time of shipment in most cases,during the year.Some of the reasons we have discussed on other threads.I would suggest turning you efforts towards finding prior owners,or have you done that already? Hope this helps you out. P.D.

    Thank you, great information.

    I actually have every title for the car along with the origination statement and a written history going back to the late 60's. The car was driven to high school by a kid in the early 70's, it had side pipes on it!!! Here is a picture of him driving the car, note the side pipes:
