How about some details on your new obsession. Exterior colors, does it HID headlights and ambiant lighting? Congratulations on your new purchase, I am sure it will bring you years of enjoyment.

    Welcome.
The more you drive it, the more you'll love it. Any plans for mods or are you keeping it stock? I've got around 1400 fun filled miles on mine so far and I've owned it since this past spring. I have to force myself to not drive it every day.

Well, we brought the beauty home this morning from the dealer. She's red with white stripes and the black with red interior. One of the techs knew to unhook the negative cable from the battery for 15 minutes so the computer would reset itself, and we had automatic 500 hp. Unbelievable !!
We have decided to lower the car with a Watts link suspension, and we have a friend who has a dyno shop who wants to tinker with the motor, burn a chip, and put a smaller pulley on too, like we need more hp!
I ordered a dash plaque from Shelby Performance parts, can't wait for that to get here. We live in Northern Ohio, so the engine work will be a winter project. I want to be able to drive it on a clear fall day. My husband has an AC Shelby Cobra Factory Five kit car that we've had for 8 years, and when the weather's too cool for that, we'll be in the Shelby. We're planning a road trip to Baltimore to see some family in October, so, we will be enjoying the Shelby even more then.
