engine found anyone need this for parts

    i found this engine stored away
    can someone tell me what size engine and what vehicle it is for

    Block Marking raised letters on block in reverse 501 and No 8
    on one side in large letters D3TE date code under oil filter 8D11

    ontop of front pulley do not know what th part is
    the part nos C5AE- 8505-A date code 5C12

    Intake manfold has big S and C6AE -9425 G date code 5C12

    Heads have C7AE -A on has the round dial pointing to No 8
    Date code on heads are 6J27 and the other is 6J29

    Exhuast manifold headers are
    C60E - 8430-A date code 6J21
    C70E - 8431-A date code 6J30

    Sounds like a 390. The block appears to be a '78 390 truck block according to date code. The large S on intake would indicate a 390 GT intake. Heads are std. 390 passenger car. Exh manifolds are std 390 passenger car. Everything with exception to the block is mid 60's. Hope this helps.

    The engine should bring $500-600 if it is a good rebuildable core. The exhaust manifolds look to be GT from what I can see. GT manifolds will bring $150-200.
