70 GT500 Clock

    Has anyone seen the standard clock SURFACE mounted in the normal pass. dash location with a black plastic bezel surrounding it? It sticks out even with the top of the dash pad. This one is new to me.

    I saw one on a 70 gt 350 with add on air.....looked bad.....like you stated...it stuck out about 3 inches.....
    I would replace that thing!!!

    That is exactly why it is that way . If you had a dealer add on air to a 1969 or 1970 Mustang or Shelby or bought it over the parts counter,the equipment you got which was designed to quickly add on air conditioning necessitated a surface mount for the clock on the passenger side. They are not looked at fondly.
