New to this forum but love all of the patina floating around, from the first GT500 to barn finds and of course Little Red info. What a great site! I have a 67 GT S code formally drag raced and now done up as a Shelby road racer. Love those old race cars!
Here's a couple of shots in the road race version. The drag race from what I sanded off was a couple of floresent red and orange colors with lettering and tore up rear wheel wells. The flares solved this problem. Of course if I were to do it again I'd probably fix the quarters instead of flares.
