GT350R gear ratios

    Question:
    Was there any difference in the gear ratios between a GT350 and a GT350R? I know that different race tracks may require different gearing, but how were they set up from the Shelby factory?

    R-Models recieved a 3.89:1 gear ratio as standard. Other ratios ( ie: 3.50:1, 3.70:1, 4.11:1, or 4.30:1 ) were available.

    I my own "quest" I had the fortune to pick over the remains of a group II coupe.. It had a 3.89 locker rear..
