Did someone have one of these and have problems with it? Something like the engine interfering with the pan, trouble sealing it??
Pete ,when you install a small block cobra oil pan on a 67 -70 Shelby which all uses the special lower junction block brkt you have clearance problems. That is one reason they stopped using them in 1967.
Bob- I am confused (but that's normal). Lower junction block bracket ? Here is one on ebay now....Item number: 150164541140
I think Bob means the Junction bracket for the power steering hoses interfers with installing the Cobra T pan. I know I had to modify the bracket when I put the T pan on my car. (not on there now)
Rod is correct.It is were the upper and lower ps pressure hoses connect in the rubber and the brkt that holds the rubber interferes with the pan if installed .The brkt is normally only used on big block mustangss but it is used on all 67-70 GT350 and GT500's both.
