What's the deal with orange & silver Shelby GT?

    Can I get a crash course on the orange (I think it's Grabber Orange?) 2008 Shelby GT's? Are these only available in Calif or what's the deal? And why only Calif?

    In the pix taken at the Shelby plant it looked like the orange were only hardtops, is that correct?

    Thanks for filling me in.

    It IS a fetching paint scheme!

    Supposed to only be available in CA, only 300 to be produced. All coupes. I believe they might have a dash pod with added gauges (not sure), but otherwise they are the same as the blue 08 SGT. And you have to like silver and orange, of course.

    Thx Benzito, that's what I'm learning. Interesting it's a CA-only deal. I gotta give Ford/Shelby credit for coming up with lots-o-varieties of Mustangs! As my dearly departed grandmother used to say, "Taste is all in your mouth," so I agree that 'ya gotta like it; frankly I really do. Not sure that's what I'd go for but it is sharp!

    I wonder if there's any price diff?

    From what I have read is that the 300 Grabber Orange SGTs are for southern Cal. and there are 200 black and white with silver stripes SGTs for northern Cal. I'm not sure about if there are going to be any other changes to them other than the colors. I'm personally waiting for the 100 blue with silver stripes for Western PA.... :lmao:

    Hold it, I thought central Minnesota was supposed to get the 100 blue & silver ones! ;-)
