Southern Automotive Engines is the only place I would look to get the biggest bang for the buck. Their new Super FE 452 dyno sheet indicates 512 HP @ 5700 and 518 ftlbs @ 4400. Good looking, all dialed in, run for two hours, and engine dynoed for $8500. Ready to go no jetting, fussing, etc.
I have $22,000 invested in my engine. Looking back I could have spent 10,000 less for an equivalent SA engine. I don't think I'll ever scratch-build an engine again.
Bill Parham (The owner) is a true"Southern Gentleman" and will make sure you are totally happy with his product. I have a small custom shop in PA and routinely steer my customers onto Southern Automotive when asked.

    His web site is: www.southernautomotiveengines.com

    Best Regards
