I am in the process readying #3014 for paint. I have been made aware that when the 67s were assembled, RTV clear silicone sealer was applied to the scoops. Anyone know if that usage included the fender extensions on the front and rear? Thanks. Al

The same sealer that was used under the front fenders to seal them to the aprons was also used on the front nose and rear end caps and tail panel. It is more forgiving and will not sag like the RTV silicone in some of the areas on the nose and tail panel that have more of a gap. Sometimes all of one type was used and some times a combination of the two. Both types were used in the discussed areas and both are correct.

My taillight panel has the type of seam sealer that was found under the front fenders.I guess both types were used on my car.
