Kenny I believe that the clamshell type pump with the intergral filter
only came on 64 1/2 289's when used in a mustang (although it will work
on any of them). The only other serviceable(clamshell type) pump that I
am aware of for a SMALL BLOCK in a mustang was first used on the BOSS
302 in 69. I might have misunderstood you back then. On the post you
were refering to, I thought we were on the subject of FE pumps and you
were refering to the fact that the serviceable pumps used on the FE
Shelby's started in 68 on. Sorry if I confused you. We talk about so
much stuff it is easy for me to switch tracks sometimes. You can hit me
