68 gt500 heads

    A friend has a 68 gt500 convert that at some point in its life had a set of CJ heads put on. We are looking for a correct set of heads to replace these with.
    What would the part number for the correct head for this car be?

    Well, I'm not sure of the part number, but I think you want the casting numbers (they differ). If that's the case they are C8AE-6090-H. You will find versions with and without the smog ports. More than likely your car had the smog when new.

    I actually looked at your website first but I didn't find what I was looking for, maybe I didn't look hard enough.
    The casting number is what I meant, sorry about that.

    Make sure they are the 14 bolt C8AE H heads as there is also a 8 bolt version used on the full size cars.
