Has anyone in the paint field done a breakdown on the original vs the Legend Lime Gold Metallic paint color mixes?

I'm wondering if the difference in hue is due mainly to the clearcoat.

My car is Sunlet Gold, but if it were Lime Gold, then I would consider painting white stripes down the middle of the car. Saw a car like this in FL. & sure was a beauty with this combination.---S.

Both Limes are very close, as are both Graber Oranges and the Graber Yellow/Zink Yellow. I had a 2000 Sun Burst Gold Mustang and it was Pretty close to the Sunlit Gold but a tad lighter. I would like to see Ford bring back Graber Green, Silver Jade, Black Jade and Colipso Coarl (Bright Redish Orange).

I've had my head buried in racecars, modifieds for so long I've fallen off the Shelby bandwagon.

When I last researched the stripes (15 years ago?) it was considered a dealer add-on option and not appropriate for concours.

I'm pondering the use of the later color.
I'll probably end up buying a pint of each to get the mix ratios (usually printed on the cans when they make it) and see what they look like side by side.

My Boss is Calypso Coral which happens to be about 5 drops of white from Chevvy Molly Orange.

Just remember that the 2005 Legend Lime will look off and flat until it receives the Clear Coat.

    Ha, I guess it would.

I'd do the 67 color in base/clear too.

I'm going to do the dove gray interior of the racecar in a basecoat and use a slight flattener in the clear.
There is very little I do in single stage unless it's in a can or I'm painting the house.
