Hello, I'm a new member to this forum and look forward to helpful information in the forum. I own a 1966 GT 350 (SFM6S009) and love to drive, show and maintain the car. I've had the car since 1995, but have loved Shelby Mustangs since their inception. I also restore Mustangs and Model T's and love automobiles in general.

I'll get some photos for the forum. The car is restored and has its original engine, trans and rear end. Being a carryover car, it has all the 1965 items, and I've tried to keep it as it would have come from Shelby. I have the car's original window sticker, and it shows the car had no options when it was delivered to McFayden's in Omaha, NB. The car came with steel wheels, a rear package tray (no rear seat) and an open rear axle, and, of course it's white. Also, the car was featured in Mustang Monthly in January 2005.

    Hello

Welcome here. I´m also a fairly new member and have already recieved much info on these cars.

I am the owner of SFM 6S006, so our cars are pretty close to each other. My car is currently undergoing restoration at Cobra Automotive here in the US. Can´t wait to get it on the road :)

Well, I finally had a chance to post some photos of the car. The images are in the Member's Gallery section. I've owned the car since 1995, and I drive it occasionally. I included a photo of the engine, the exterior and the original window sticker. Since I've owned the car, I have personally spoken to every prior owner, with the exception of the first one, and have documented these conversations about the car's history. I feel very fortunate to have 6S009's lineage documented.

Mike, The Blue Dots are repros. They are about as authentic as you can get, made in the USA by Goodyear. No DOT markings, so I'm happy with the way they look. As for the ride........well, they sure aren't radials!! I have the original 15X6 steel wheels and I have Goodyear radials on them, so if I want to cruise any distance, I just change the wheels. Thanks, Russ
