I am wondering about the whereabouts of three Shelbys if anyone can help.

    1. 1968 GT500 #517 - last known somewhere in Indio California in 88.
It was my second car and first Mustang. I bought it in 1976 and owned it until 1980. Sold to Jim Buote in Costa Mesa.
    2. 1968 GT350 # 111 - again last known in Southern California in the 80's.

    3. 1967 GT500 # 1338 - Also last known in Southern California in the 80's.

Any information would be appreciated. Please advise at:
    webmaster@1970mgr.org.

    Thanks.

What color was #1338? ...because I saw a 67 GT500 in Utah this past summer with such a decal!

Yep, #808 belongs to a fellow Washington State "Shelby" club member, Steve Shriver, he is the original owner . It was originally a Shelby American company car which is the reason for the Shelby American parking sticker in the lower passenger front windshield. The car was also a demonstrator when it was sold retail to Metke Ford in Washington. Steve was looking at the 1968 Shelbys at Metke Ford when the blue 1967 GT500 caught his eye, the price was reduced due to its mileage, he has had it ever since.
