OK, I'm gonna back off a bit on the comment I posted a day or two ago; I'll
concede that the first HW (or first HW mustang?) can be other folks' "holy
grail", even if it seems like tulip bulbs to me. After all, I'm sure that my
better half regards some of the Shelby stuff I've bought as "tulip bulbs"....

I do have some of my old hotwheels and original matchboxes. I have the
chrome Boss Hoss Mustang that was only given away as part of the club
membership in 1970. I had the club member book that came with it, but I
think it got lost in one of my parent's moves. The book was intersting as
it had special features on the Dan Gurney and Sweede Savage Trans Am
Plymouths along with great pictures of the cars racing against the Bud
Moore Mustangs.

I also have one of the original Matchbox 65 Mustangs. Both Mustangs are
somewhat collectable in the hotwheels/matchbox circles. It is nice to know
that I didn't get rid of them. But my mother did manage to toss out My
Roberto Clemente rookie baseball card.
