anyone catch DREAM CAR GARAGE on the SPEED channel today? DREAM CAR GARAGE is restoring a 68 SHELBY GT500KR convertable. The show airs Saturday mornings at 8:30 on SPEED. Todays episode showed neat info on how to reproduce the paint dobs, markings, numbers, stampings etc. They even went as far as telling you what some of the markings meant. Thought it was a neat episode. You should catch the rerun. They show the SHELBY every week and its progress. According to the SPEED schedule the episode will rerun on Monday the 19th @2am. Set your VCR'S or DDR'S http://www.dreamcargarage.com/index.htm Jim
Hmm, I am pretty sure they are associated with Legendary Motor Cars in Canada. They used to be called the Shelby Shop wayback. They have shown several cars at SAAC.
That gorgeous Acapulco blue fastback in the backround @ VIR looks familiar I think you can even see Pete looking in the engine bay (big guy with the hat) in one shot.
That would have been interesting If the car was at VIR... anyone (Pete or Tim) remember the class and how it did?
Im pretty sure its a rerun from a season ago. But its new to me..lol Im curious to see the end result. Ill keep watching. Jim
I am not sure which car it is in the tv show. My general observation is there is some extrapolation and over detailing on the 1968 Shelbys found on their website. They are nice and shiney
