HI Everyone First i don't have a shelby last couple of years have come close to some projects but got jerked around and people screwing you by getting in the back door,now with the prices guess it won't happen.Any cheap rough projects around lol.I do have interest in mercury & ford products i got a cougar eliminator 428cj got a 68 cougar gte w/427 and now building a 69 convertible stang 428scj,guess a shelby wasn't meant to be.I have been to 3 saac events have some friends with shelby's,great time great event for male bonding lol,and always get to carlisle for ford weekend.I try and keep up with what is going on in the ford community's special cars(boss,cobra jet,shelby's).This will be the most rambling i will be doing as i lurk most of the time.One opinion that i do have is the direction of the ole man,but guess that's what makes the world go round $$$$$.I have enjoyed this sight,i have visited many times before becoming a member.Wish the folks here all the best,and i hope i will continue to enjoy my visits to this site----MOE
Welcome, I love the GTE Cougars, especially the W code ones. I almost had one about 5 years ago when the guy "changed his mind". Well it ended up on E-bay shortly after and he got more than I was willing to pay. Oh, well I got my XR7-GT instead. No where near the car a GTE is but nearly as rare. Can you post some pics of your cars in your member gallery?
Welcome, I had a 70 Cougar Eliminator It had a Boss 302 with 4:30 super drag pack . It had manual steering and manual drum brakes and was grabber blue.
