Any one know who can repair a broken original horse hair shroud from a 67 GT-500? It's in two pieces. Thanks!
Mine was broken in 2 places. I got some Marine Tex & applied it underneath, came out pretty good, You can't see where it has been repared. When I had a boat years ago I used that on everything. Some people say you can use it on engine repare,as well. Home Depot, & lowes carry it also. good luck.---S.
Thanks for the advice too, from a new forum member. I have a 69 NOS shroud, in the Ford box. It slipped out and cracked. These things are incredibly brittle after 40 years, and probably weren't much different when new!
