1969 GT500 Smog ?

    All 68,69,70 Shelby GT 500's came with Smog (thermactor) no matter what Urban legends you might have heard. Probably since it was on every GT500 engine for those years it was not considered a variable. The build sheet was for the variable items to be used on the car.

    Both the 500 and the 350 had "smog" or emission equipment but most people think of Thermactor when they think smog. ;)

    If you look at the bottom line far right you will see that the build sheet identifies the fan/drive belt for the Thermactor pump in the last group. Also under stand that since the Thermactor equipment was already installed on the engine as part of the sub assembly there is no reason for its inclusion on the build sheet. Line G - Boxes 36-40
