Hey y'all, don't let this guy down. He has a 68, if it is using 10 spokes they have offset to the outside. I have found a 215/65/15 to be a good fit with stock wheel openings and ten spokes. The 69's had a larger wheel opening and the 69 Shelby wheels were closer to 0 offset. If your 67 or 68 uses magstars, you can probably get 235/60/15's under it without a problem in the front. The offset of the wheel, size or modifications to the wheel lip and whether the car is lowered or not affect maximum tire size, This comes from lots of autocrossing in Shelbys.
