Ah, that "427" is a stroked 351, so, they do make a Vortex for that. I can't say thay make one for a big block 427 FE based engine.

Of course they make a supercharger for a FE 427...I remember seeing one sell at BJ last year for big $$$...Super Snake...dual superchargers on a FE 427 SO.

    Hello everybody
    hope you all well
So the shelby gt500e's that where made by unique performance had a 725hp 351windsor stroked? and can any well tell me what goodys they used on that engine to get that horsepower and if there is a link to look a superchargers for a 351/427 stroked windsor block?
I have a 427 and other ford engines 351 289hipos 390hipos and the one 427 sideoiler however i no the sideoiler are rare to find by todays standards originals that is but am now confused as what to do?
Also i last posted a thread about information on a 69 shelby suspension but couldnt post the pics if any one can help me to how u post pics that would be great i also have a shelby number on a aluminium casing on either side of this 69 shelby with a number that i shale post later on that thre so if any one can help with those that would be wounderful.
But back to the thread and information would be great as to what to do427 stroke 725hp or sideoiler?
i just think if i should vere blow the 351 up i no its bad but 351s are easy to find 427s right?

Cobra Automotive makes a twin Paxton kit for an FE based 427... cuz too much is just never quite enough

Give us some details (and some pix!) of the project when you have a chance!

    Re: gt500e

I was searching for the pix i have of a 67 GT500 with FE 427 with dual paxton superchargers...i will find it....it is one of the coolest setups i have ever seen. However, the FE motor is pretty tight in the mustang. To put on the dual superchargers you have to eliminate things...like power steering to get it to fit.

From what i have read and been told the FE always had a problems because the heads would never flow right. The 351 platform stroked to a 427 was a better choice...it was smaller, lighter, rev'd better and more reliable.

I have a 351 stroked to 427 with alum heads/intake in one of my cars and she flies . I run a stroked FE 427 in my another and she flies. but i think the stroked 351 is the way to go. Good luck! and post some pix.
