previous owners of #1947 67 gt500 427 lightweight engine

    anyone out there remember this car, it was in the san francisco area in 1967 and possibly around sacremento area in 68. originally white no lemans stripes. 427 aluminum heads auto. headers shock tower modifications rear fenders were taller and wider. was painted pearl white with a purple lace work all over it in maybe 69 or 70.

    How is the resto coming on this car, Joe? I think about stopping by your shop every time I drive by. Have you still got the Boss 9?

    hi tony , the 67 is at the painters and i traded the boss for some had to find parts. wish i still had that one, but the shelby was more important. hey stop by with that new gt sometime i want a ride! p.s. do you remember the headers that were on your 68 gt500, pete was telling me about them and they sounded like what may have been on my 67. joe(427gt)

    I will bring the GT over when the weather clears up and we will go for a ride. I will give you a call first. The headers that I had were made by Hooker if I remember correctly. I think Pete still has them as far as I know, maybe not. Those guys don't seem to sell much. Can't wait to see your Snake back on the road.
