    Hi

That price is normal for german standards. That is not as much as i thought
of. I sent you an email please check.
I would like to thank everybody here again for their help and telling their
expirience in this forum. You can´t emagine what this means to me.
Here in germany people that are into american cars are so rare like a chevrolet dealer in Bagdad i´d say. So thats why there no one to ask for
    any help.

    You are awesome guys!!!

Just called Avon in UK and asked for the price. Its 300$ pice. Ok if the look is great allright.
Best of all the AVON is a soft compound tyre. The guy said its very popular tyre and will
last for road use about 6000 miles. Well make 4000 out of it and still ok.
Another thought was keep the 15x7 TTDs and put the AVONs on them that would be
ok too what do you think? Because the rim is only 7" wide the tyre will have this balloon look
    like the Blue Strike right????

Jerry,I thought I would remind you that soft compound race tires are very sticky and pick up every piece of gravel ,glass etc. Those pieces are then thrown up on your paint job and cause a lot of chips in a short period of time. On a race car it is not a issue .On a show car or one you show occasionally it is. If you are going to drive it on the street you might think of a nice set of Goodyear radials to cruise on and a vintage looking set of race tires to show with or the occasional open track event. As much as you are trying to make the car look vintage correct with the horn switch etc. anything but the Goodyear bluestreaks would be a mistake. To put it in context hardly anyone knows what the horn switch is supposed to look like but most every Shelby enthusiast knows the R models raced on Goodyear's.The best of luck with your project.

    Hi Bob

You got a point! Never the less am i a hot driver. And like i said they
are expensive to get. And most of the R Model around are not driving
on Good Years anymore. I´ve seen Kopecs 98 with Hoosiers and other
R Models with various tyres. In germany we still race our cars on regular
roads when possible thats why i´m interested in this thread. But like
i also said you got a point!

    @shlby66
Please let me know if you got 7x15 or 8x15 somehow i couldn´t
see anything where it´s written. Because someon allready wants
to buy my TTDs. If you have 7" i´ll keep em.

    Bye Jerry

    Jerry,

I sent you a PM. Let me know if you get it. Currently, 15 x 7's are on the '67
    and Cragers on the '66.
