The last several weeks I've been trying to find out more about a cobra weber intake manifold that belonged to my mother's late husband. Several months before he died my mother said that he had been looking to sell it to someone in the their area (Monterey Bay). I'm not sure what happened (maybe he got too sick), but he never sold it. He used to sell vintage and luxury cars and at one point he purchased the inventory of a car dealership (British Motors) in southern California and then made a living selling the parts she said. Not sure why he held onto the manifold but my mother remembers him saying that it was for a 60's Shelby Cobra, that it had never been used, was sitting on a shelf all those years and was worth about $2,000. Since I sell stuff on ebay (acbmx1) (www.urbancluttersf.com), she asked me to sell it for her. So...I've been doing some research but can't seem to find much info. on this manifold. I believe it was for a small block....think it was in the 289 FIA. Anyway...any info that you may have would be appreciated.

    Best regards,

    Amanda

    Amanda,
post a few pix - someone here will know and will be able to put some sort of price tag on it. I could not get the link to your site to work.

My late stepfather told my mother that it was worth about 2K.
