Hello to all and sorry for the long time between posts. Duty call overseas mostly....and it hasn't changed much since last time either. Wondering if someone could really help me with a detailed list and maybe even a good photo or two of the part numbers/cast numbers for all the smog components in a 67 GT500 calif smog car. I've research but really can't come up with a definative list of all the parts and the more I investigate the more confusing. Appears that most of the stuff was taken off the 390GT and even across product lines.

    thanks
    Dave Kelly

Hi to Dave ! If you are looking for info try Mansfield Mustang. He is very good with the F E engine and has good pictures on the web. This is not an easy subject,as most cars had/have been de-smogged,and the Police intercepter engine was modified for the Shelby installation.Happy Hunting !!:)

Yes some of the parts are 390 GT (like Cougar or Mustang) and some of the parts are from other engines. Also be aware that there were slight differences between the early and late versions as installed. Some of the hoses were modified/cut to fit also. Also the drivers side tube appears to have been modified from the standard 390 GT one

Good photos are hard to get (no one that I know of has installed a correct full system on an engine on a stand yet) since taking pictures of a system on a car does not show all the details.

That is the three port diverter valve that replaced the 390 one for the GT500 system but it's a Holley replacement
