Team Shelby Refund????

    OK here's one for you guys. I originally signed up and paid for a New Team Shelby Membership back in Nov 07 & shorly thereafter decided to cancel. I kept reading about the turmoil going on between Ol Shelby himself & SAAC so I decided to at least remain a member of SAAC & hold off on joining New Team Shelby at least for a little while....Now here's the problem. I have been in contact with a NTS representative (Robert Lane) and although he has agreed to refund my $49.99 it has still not happened!!! He keeps forwarding my emails giving the impression the refund will get processed by another employee (Sharon) but going on two plus month's later- still NO REFUND!!!! I just had to file a dispute claim with my credit card company. Now the $50 bucks is no big deal but is this the New Team that is potentially going to protect our precious Ford & Shelby Vin numbers in the future?????? I'm sorry but I don't have a warm and fuzzy felling at this point should SAAC ever have to turn that information over!!!

    A little bit of a stretch to assume that Team Shelby is "bankrupt" because they haven't processed your refund yet (as if that was the last $50 in the bank). Could be that they had other priorities like Shelby's birthday or getting their website up or whatever.

    Don't forget that club apparently has the backing of SAI, so it doesn't seem likely that they'd let the namesake club go down.

    Nice way of getting peoples attention! sad that it is a hassle getting $50 Dollars back from the Lanes or T.S for that matter. that has to be half a tank of gas in my truck!:doh: and that is not a joke!! I am sure after this thread crosses Amy's Blackberry, she'll get a check cut right away....

    Not even 1/2 for me anymore. I agree about the "bankrupt" comment, this is how ugly rumors get started. Hope you get your money returned soon.

    Yes, I was looking for the attention getter and it worked as Team Shelby amazingly credited my account as of today! I was merely pointing out their lack of follow thru on such a simple request when compared to more significant items.
    For whatever reason it took them longer to refund the membership as originally promised. They did get it done eventually and good luck to them in their future endeavors.

    Team Shelby Bankrupt? Give me a break! When we joined our membership number was over 12,000. How many members does SAAC have? I think that 'ol Shel has ALOT of people backing him. My family is behind him ALL THE WAY!:guns:

    We try to be open to all viewpoints and keep editing to a minimum.
    We left your post up even though it has nothing to do with this Forum.

    I hope this does not open the floodgates for people who think that this Forum has anything to do with getting $ back from anyone, or any entities we are not connected to - especially the IRS.:rolleyes:
