Hello, This post is to get some of the folks on this site located near the Grand Rapids area to come down to Dog Dawgs this Sat. nite the 19th of Jan. around 7ish to mingle with some gearheads. They are located in Grandville on Wilson between 28th. and Chicago dr. this is the place where the gearheads hang out in the good weather months and it would be nice to show our support by hanging out some during the off season so it doesn't look like we are fairweathered friends. They have a TV with a DVD player so if you have some footage you would like to share come on down and grab a hot dog and hang out!! if you need better directions post it here or PM me. The new date is the 26th of Jan. instead do the inclement coming to the west side of the state
Got an old vcr around the place? I got videos of SAAC 12 and 15 that are fun to watch. I don't know if I want to make the 2 1/2 hour drive if the snow comes.
That would be cool and I understand about the weather plus I just found out about another event that would prevent some folks from coming this weekend so I am thinking about the 26th and I will edit the above to reflect the date change maybe it will be better for a drive as the lakeshore (west) could see up to a foot of snow.
I'd be interested in driving up from Elkhart, Indiana. It's about 100 miles straight up US 31 for me.
You guys are real gearheads!! Willing to drive aways just to beat the winter doldrums. That is way cool!! We are planning to do this on Sat. the 26th of Jan. for sure!!
I am going to Mesick on the 26th to ride my sled. Can you get to this place on a sled or is it too far in town?
It is too far in town to ride a sled (I might have done it years ago for kicks and tick off the locals but the wild hairs are a little short nowadays) they are open til 10 pm though I am going to try to organize another gearhead get together in Feb. I will keep you posted though!
I'm afraid the weather is not going to cooperate again this weekend. We got about 1 1/2 inches of snow tonight here at the Mich/Indiana state line.
Sorry to here about the weather down by the state line there rnoggle, and I hope you got to do some snowmobiling in Mesick 67GT500. But fear naught we are planning a couple more times next month so I will keep you posted also we would be more than happy to have you come up in the warm weather too!!
