Info on an intake?

    I have a friend that has an intake ,It is a 2x4 bbl small block that has shelbys name on it. .Any help would be great serial number is SF JD9425E

    It was a dual plane manifold shown in early Shelby catalogs. It was designed for the 1967 Mustang Road Race Championship. It utilized 2-460cfm Holley carbs and would add 45 to 55hp depending on the cam used. For $317.00 you got the manifold w/carbs, progressive linkage, fuel log, gaskets and air cleaner. The manifold alone was $125.00 in '67. This is not a easy part to find these days, even harder with the carbs attached. :)
