Need GT500KR Tach and oil pressure gauge

    Hey there, we after 18 months my KR is ready to come home. The tach in the car is not correct, it was replaced a while back so I am looking for an original or NOS Tach.

    Also, the sending unit to the oil pressure gauge is working so either the wire or oil pressure gauge is bad, most likely the gauge. Does any anyone rebuild these? If not, any good places to look for original or NOS? I know they are not cheap.

    i have a complete tach-speedo assembly out of a 67 gt 500....same thing as your 68. pm me if interested.....chris

    I'm sorry but they are not the same. The fuel and temp gauges swapped places from 67 to 68 so the wiring harness is completely different. Also the tach has a C8 part number (although I'm not sure exactly why).

    the 1967-68 tach metal housings are different. the gasoline and temperature gauges remained in the same place both years for the tach equipped cars. if you would like to see what the difference is look tat www.tachman.com/ford.htm and scroll down the page to my shelby restorations as I detailed the differences.
